This project focused on delivering an aluminium balustrade system with supporting mild steel fabrication for a residential property in Harare. The client wanted the balustrades to become a strong visual feature while still improving safety, movement, and overall finishing around the stair and landing areas. Crown Steel handled the measurement, fabrication, finishing, and on-site installation from start to finish.
The work included aluminium sections for the visible balustrade lines, mild steel support fabrication where extra strength was needed, and careful site fitting to keep the final alignment straight and balanced. The goal was a secure installation that also looked light, modern, and properly finished from every angle.
Before installation, each component was prepared in the workshop for accurate assembly on site. That reduced delays during fitting and helped us maintain clean weld quality on the mild steel sections, neat aluminium finishing, and consistent spacing across the balustrade runs. Surface preparation and finishing were treated as part of the job, not as an afterthought, because long-term durability depends on that stage being done properly.
During installation, the focus was on structural stability, clean fixing details, even panel lines, and a finish that looked professional from every angle. The result was a practical aluminium-and-mild-steel solution that improved safety, added visual value, and gave the client a strong completed area built for daily use.
The completed project delivered a modern balustrade finish, dependable protection at the edge and stair positions, and mild steel support work built around real site conditions rather than a one-size-fits-all layout. This is the type of project where measurement accuracy, fabrication discipline, and installation experience directly affect the final result.
We design, fabricate, and install aluminium works, railings, balustrades, gates, roofing, clear view fencing, carports, and mild steel structures across Harare and surrounding areas.
Site Planning
The installation started with confirming stair dimensions, fixing points, access clearances, and the exact finish level required. That planning stage reduced fitting adjustments on site and helped maintain a cleaner final layout.
Fabrication Quality
Accurate cutting, proper welding, and surface finishing were important to the outcome. The project was prepared to allow faster installation while keeping the visible balustrade lines neat and consistent.
Final Outcome
The completed project delivered both safety and presentation. It improved the property finish while giving the client practical aluminium and mild steel work suited to everyday use in real conditions.
